Condom, egg, and makeup! #wtf

Hey, fellow unicorns! This has to be the single craziest thing that I have ever done and frankly, I had so much fun prepping for this blog Kyun ki pagalpanti Bhi zaroori hai!!! We have so much to deal with in our lives that we completely forget to have some fun and this was basically my sole reason to try out something wacky like this. The Internet is full of wacky AF stuff and not so long ago, there was a trend circulating on the blogosphere about using weird stuff to apply foundation that led to the birth of beauty blenders and silisponge and amazing products like that. But there were also many other products that went viral not because they were amazing but because they were so weird, cringey and straight up funny! The products that got the most momentum was using condoms and eggs to apply foundation that went super viral so I thought why not try these on my blog and see if they were any good and had a blast trying these out for the readers. I took help from my mommy who was kind enough to model the products for me (Her expressions were hilarious when I asked her to model with the condom! Love you mom ❤ !)  Take a look…

When I saw this trend my first reaction was gross since I hate having egg and anything to do with egg freaks me out! But I had to try it, since applying foundation with a boiled egg went so viral. I thought if so many people are trying it would be an amazing substitute to the beauty sponge and it would be good to eat after applying foundation (Talk about hitting two birds with one stone!). I was excited but also disgusted to apply an egg to my face let alone eat it after. I boiled the egg, took my fav combo of two Foundations- Maybelline Fit Me! and L.A. Girl Pro Conceal Foundation and with a heavy heart applied it on my face. And just as I had expected it was a total disaster! :’D The smell itself set me off and once I applied it on my face the egg broke and the foundation was so chunky and disgusting! But I still tried to make it work only to make it even more terrible. The final verdict was that you should use egg only for eating and nothing else but it was super fun trying it out! 😀

When I heard about this trend, I was straight up ROFL but at the same time was curious if it was possible to pull off applying foundation with a condom! So I had to try this out to see if this protection device can actually give me a flawless base (wink wink! :D). I actually had a feeling that dealing with a condom would be a way more interesting experience but to my disappointment, it was a rather ok-ish product to try and trying to apply foundation with an egg was far more chucklesome than a condom. But it did apply my foundation way better than the egg but was still a mess to deal with. Shout out to the blogger who thought of trying something this funny. These trends definitely won’t help if you are getting ready for an important occasion but is a real comical experience and should try it at least once with your BFF’s!

Until next time! ❤

Herb Day 365 cleansing foam- peach review!!

Hey, fellow unicorns! A famous blogger had once said that “Beautiful skin requires commitment and not a miracle” and I, 100% stand for this quote because you cannot expect to have flawless skin by just one trip to the salon because it requires a lot more effort than that and as Lilly Singh says that “You are an Investment”, you should never shy away from taking good care of your skin, pampering it from time to time to get amazing skin and investing in good products irrespective of gender. I am always on a quest for good skin care which will eventually help me use less makeup to hide my flaws because healthy skin is the best foundation you can wear. And nobody does it better than the Koreans because their skin care range is to die for as they usually refrain from using harsh chemicals like parabens, sulfates etc because they can be terrible for the skin. One of the best examples is ‘THE FACE SHOP’ whose products are to die for and are easily available online. Since I have always loved their sheet masks, I wished to try other products from the range when I stumbled upon the Herb day 365 cleansing foam. This product is raved about by many beauty bloggers and vloggers and frankly wanted to know what the hype was about. Check it out…

COST-  Rs- 300 for 170ml

SHELF LIFE-  3 Years

INGREDIENTS-  Water, Myristic Acid, Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Sorbitol, Glycol Distearate, Lauric Acid, Peach Fruit Extract, Horse Chestnut, Saponaria Officinalis Leaf Extract, Alchemilla Vulgaris Extract, Sage, Fragrance, Butylene Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Yellow 5, Red 33.

HOW TO USE-  Massage over wet face and rinse with lukewarm water.

PACKAGING-  It is a white squeezy tube, quite simple packaging with a cute peach imprinted on the tube.

EXPERIENCE-  When the product arrived at my doorstep, I was pretty impressed with the quantity because it would easily last for two to three months. I selected the peach version but there are 4 more types to select from ie; moong bean, aloe vera, lemon, and spearmint (for men). The paste is pearly white with iridescence that is very pretty to look at. It has a subtle peachy scent nothing too strong. You would only require a small amount as it lathers so well. It completely takes off the makeup (even the stubborn mascara!) and makes the face squeaky clean. It makes the face so soft that the oily skin beauties could get away without moisturizing and that sweet subtle smell lingers which makes it feel like a personal spa session. It claims to be suited for all skin types and it stands proudly on this because my sister being from a dry skin fam loves this cleanser too. It definitely does not irritate your skin and is a very effective cleanser for daily washing the face.

WILL I REPURCHASE-  Definitely, it is a total value for money although I won’t be finishing this tube anytime soon;p

RATING-  Sweet 4/5 ❤

Until next time!!! ❤

DIY Sheet Masks!!

Hey, fellow unicorns! With the raging trend of skincare all over the world, people are getting more and more aware of the benefits of taking better care of their skin irrespective of the genders. And with the plethora of options available in the market both luxury and drugstore, one product that stands out the most are the sheet masks. The hype of sheet mask originally started from Korea and soon everyone was about that sheet mask life. It is the easiest to apply, gives us the in-home spa session in less than 20 minutes and is available in every single type! They are available for everyone ranging from cheap to the crazy expensive. But whenever a trend catches on, everyone wishes to find an alternative to the product which can be made by our own hands in the comforts of our homes.

So out of curiosity, I was watching videos on YouTube to find DIY’s for sheet masks when I came across an Indian YouTuber where she used face wipes to make her sheet masks. It was a pure genius idea because unlike tissues, face wipes are made of cotton that would not rip easily. So I decided to create my own sheet masks using face wipes. You could literally put any brewed potion of your choice to make a custom sheet mask for your liking. So I gathered some of my favorite home ingredients to make a custom sheet mask for myself and they turned out to be pretty good. It feels absolutely divine to use these after an exhausting day and feel rejuvenated with a baby soft skin.

  •  It is a pretty easy method to make your own sheet masks. I usually take the alcohol-free wipes as alcohol is terrible for the skin, remove the sticky plastic cover, squeeze out the juice in the face wipes (it does not have to be perfect) and keep it for drying for a day.
  • The next day, take a cup of water and add two tablespoons of coffee, green tea, honey, aloe vera gel, washed rice and put it on the stove for boiling.
  • Once the brew is boiled, take it off the stove and strain it through the sieve into another bowl so it would be only liquid.

  • The last step is to pour the liquid slowly into the face wipe pack and let the wipes soak it in after which you could stick the plastic cover back and store it in your refrigerator for that cooling effect.

  • Whenever you feel like applying a sheet mask you could easily pull out the wipes and apply it on the face for 10-15 minutes and voila! you will feel super relaxed and ready to hustle even harder.
  • You could use any ingredients for the brew and also boil some extra coffee water if sheet masks run a little dry.

Until next time!!!

Biotique bio papaya exfoliating face wash review!!

Hey, fellow unicorns!! With the overwhelming response to my blog to starting my passion project once again, it has been an amazing week and to end this week on a productive note, I decided to write this blog about the amazing face product that I have been religiously using for the past month and boy has this product made me proud! I was on a hunt for a new face wash with my friend when I stumbled upon this product. With so many choices, I was totally confused about which one to pick and since I am a girl with extremely sensitive skin issues, usually no product impresses me because it ends up reacting on my face. Since my friend knew about my condition, she pointed out Biotique bio papaya face wash which claimed to have no parabens and made with completely natural ingredients without alcohol which were the sole two reasons that I decided to purchase this product and since then I have been using this product to give my honest review.

COST- Rs- 60/- for 50ml and Rs-110/- for 100ml

SHELF LIFE-  3 years

INGREDIENTS-  Papita juice 3%, Akhrot Shell Powder 3%, Neem Bark 5%, Banhaldi Tuber 2%, Ritha Fruit 8%, Kikar Gond 2%, Moongphali Tail 1.5%, Purified water.

HOW TO USE- Gently massage over wet face and neck with fingertips, lather and rinse, morning and evening.

PACKAGING- The packaging is quite simple. It is a plastic squeeze tube with a good sturdy top which will not spill what so ever (trust me I have tried!) nothing fancy.

EXPERIENCE-  Frankly I was quite suspicious if this face wash would actually work on my skin as the price point was so low and it claimed to have therapeutic properties and mentioned that it was not a cosmetic product, I thought that it would be a total gimmick that would not work but I was pleasantly surprised the results. It has a beautiful fragrance (nothing overwhelming) which lingers when you wash the face. Even after using for a month, I did not have a reaction on my face which was a straight up miracle for me. The small beads in the gel gently massaged the skin without over-exfoliating giving a soft as a baby’s butt feeling after every wash. It did not do any wonders on my skin but was an amazing substitute for the harsh soap. The best part about this face wash was that it helped remove all the makeup which was an added bonus.

WILL I REPURCHASE?   Definitely!! It was a good value for money and lived up to all the claims. Overall, this product is definitely worth giving a try.

RATING-  A strong 4.5/5!!

Until next time!!!! ❤
